EUKARYOTES
Eukaryotes are multicellular organisms whose cells contain shaped nuclei. Chromosomes, depositories of genetic information, are confined inside nuclei. Besides the nucleus, there are other discrete compartments in the cytoplasm of an eukaryotic cell.
Multicellular plants and animals, and also so called microbal eukaryotes, which present monocellular organisms, belong to eukaryotes.
