THERMODYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM
Thermodynamic equilibrium of a system is characterized by equality of temperature, pressure and other macroscopic parameters of all its parts, and by maximum of entropy of the system in its entirety. Any isolated system in the course of time attains the state of thermodynamic equilibrium.
