CELL CYCLE STAGE S
Stage S (from the Eng. synthesis) is the middle of the three sequential stages of the resting stage of the cell cycle. This is the synthetic stage. During this stage, replication of DNA occur, and histones, with which every DNA strand associates, are synthesized. Every chromosome turns into two chromatids.
