COMPLEMENTARITY
Complementarity is a feature of the DNA double spiral. According to it thymine in the opposite chain of the molecule is always placed opposite adenine, cytosine is opposite guanine, and vice versa. They form hydrogenous bonds. Complementarity is very important for the DNA replication.
