ERYTHROCYTES
Erythrocytes are anuclear blood cells containing haemoglobin. They transport oxygen from lungs to tissues and dioxide carbon from tissues to respiratory organs. They are produced in bone marrow. 1 cubic millimetre of human blood contains 4 to 5.5 millions erythrocytes.
