AMINO ACID SEQUENCE
Amino acid sequence is the order in which amino acid residues are placed along the polypeptide chain. As polypeptides are built of 20 different amino acids, protein consisting of 100 residues can have 20100 different variants of sequence. This variability of sequences provides great variety of structures and functions of proteins.
